Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. I am a photographer living in Oxford, Ohio with my husband and two daughters. I absolutely love photography and feel so fortunate to get to do what I do every day! As a former professional dancer, creating has always been at the heart of who I am. Photography has blessed me with the opportunity to use art to document people's greatest moments of joy and beauty. I love getting to meet new people and make personal connections with my clients. I believe in capturing authentic joy-filled portraiture through gentle guidance but am also ready to capture those unplanned, priceless moments. What types of photography services do you offer?
I offer a wide range of photography services, including senior sessions, graduation sessions, headshots, modeling, dance and sports, wedding photography, families and babies, event photography, and more. I like to shoot outside and also have a home photography studio fully equipped with backdrops and lighting.
How do I book a photography session?
To book a photo session fill out the form on the contact page. Once I know what kind of session you are looking for I will reach out within 48 hours to send you pricing and create a vision for our shoot.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. If you need help choosing a location I am happy to offer suggestions of some of my favorite locations. You can also choose to do photos at my home photography studio, which is fully equipped with backdrops and lighting.
How does the booking process work?
Once we connect and decide what session you are interested in I will send you a link to my booking site. There you can choose a date and time and secure your booking. To secure your session, I require a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
What forms of payment do you take?
You can pay your deposit and final payments by credit card, Venmo or Paypal through my booking site. Final payments are due on the day of your shoot and can also be paid in cash.
What is the best time of day to book a photo shoot?
The most ideal time to book outdoor shoots is the first couple of hours in the morning or the last couple of hours before sunset. That is because the light is the softest during those hours. However, I am experienced in shooting at any time of the day because I understand lighting. I can find the "good light" always and shoot strategically. In addition, I know how to use artificial lighting on location if I feel like it will help us out or if we are looking for a desired look.
How will i receive my images?
You will receive your images in your own personal online gallery. With the digital gallery you will be able to view, share and download your images at different resolutions. Once you download your images you will be able to print or share them. I also have a store attached to your gallery where you have the option to order high quality prints and products right from your gallery.
Can you help me pose?
Absolutely!! Very few people actually feel comfortable posing. I will help you every step of the way! I like to guide you into natural looking positions and also give you prompts to capture true, authentic emotions. I encourage you to be yourself so that the real you shows up in your pictures!
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
My editing process typically takes 2-3 weeks. Often, I get the galleries out sooner but during busy seasons it can take up to 3 weeks. Wedding galleries take 4-6 weeks. I prioritize quality and attention to detail in every single image.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we'd just reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. You won't lose out on your deposit or session, so no need to worry.
